Positions:
Agronomist Position - Technical Product Lead (TPL) - PEI
Location:
Mainly the Province of PEI and the successful candidate should ideally live on PEI or be willing to relocate to PEI.
Duration:
Permanent fulltime
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, be a confident self-starter individual, results driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Education: a minimum of a B.Sc. degree in agriculture or related field.
Experience: 5-7-years minimum experience in a technical or agronomic role.
Experience with the production aspects of all crops (potato, wheat, barley, oats etc.). Familiar with basic aspects of product R&D, field scale product evaluations and demonstrations. General commercial acumen and deep understanding of Eastern Canadian agriculture, its potential and challenges.

Job Description:

The P.E.I TPL will: Be the product and technology expert for the province of PEI; Help launch new products and technologies in the area of responsibility; Have a key role in positioning NutriAg’s innovative portfolio in the region; Be responsible for training and educating NutriAg’s network of distributors in the area; Assist management in the recruitment and development of new distributor accounts; Promote distributors’ sales growth through technical knowledge and credibility, and; travel regularly, mainly in the province of PEI.
