This role is ideal for a student who is mechanically inclined and has a general familiarity with farm equipment (or other motorized/mechanical equipment). Attention to detail, the ability to organize and a can-do attitude are key to success. A valid (class 5) driver’s license is also required.

Job Description:
Indian River Farms, located in the Kensington, PEI area is looking for a self-motivated and energetic student interested in expanding their mechanical knowledge as a Summer Maintenance Stores Person.
As a Maintenance Stores Person, you will be accountable for mechanical parts inventory management including sorting, receiving, replenishing, issuing, storing and locating stock. Using Lean principles including 5S and Kanban, you will have the opportunity to create a new parts management system for the farm to use on an ongoing basis.
