Job Description:
We at Indian River Farms are now recruiting for our 2022 farm season. We are seeking farm labourers who are self-motivated and good interpersonal skills.
This role is seasonal (May to November), 40+ hours per week at $16 per hour. We are located at 1160 Route 20, Indian River, PE, C0B 1M0.
Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting farm operations, including:
- cutting potato seed
- cleaning equipment and storage bins
- general equipment upkeep
- rouging in the fields
- grading,
- and other duties as required to support the planting and harvest of potatoes.
We offer room and board to qualified candidates from outside of the local area. We also offer a health and dental package, and training support to grow your career with the farm.
Experience is preferred but not required.
Grade 12 or equivalent education is preferred.
Preference is given to those with a class 3 or class 1 license.
